Healthier Care
SCOPE
Healthier Care is an easy to use, safe space to store medical information and reminders. In just a few steps you can add reminders to take medication, vitals, upcoming doctors appointments and more.

Conducting foundational research, design research, post-launch research, interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high- fidelity prototypes, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility and iterating on designs.

THE PROBLEM
THE GOAL
Confusion and forgetfulness when it comes to taking medication/vitals. Having to store large amounts of medical paperwork as well as keep track of it all. Not knowing how to properly use technology in order to use a Medication reminder app.
Create an accessible app to send reminders when to take medication/vitals and upcoming medical appointments. As well as a medical archive to store photos of documents, information, and important notes that can be easily sent to a doctor or professional while maintaining privacy and safety.

FOUNDATIONAL RESEARCH
Research Methods
Both primary and secondary research were conducted. Starting with secondary research such as articles and testimonials from users on similar study sites. After learning as much as possible from others I started on my primary research, interviews. Thus giving me a better understanding on the matter to develop a solution.
Interviews
A small group of elderly people from my community were interviewed to better understand their struggles with their medical reminders and medication. The primary user group were senior citizens who took medication.

USABILITY STUDY
Observations from the usability studies were complied in order to easily point out what most users had difficulty with or liked the most. By doing so iterating was to the point and completely user centered.
USABILITY STUDY
Several iterations of paper wireframes were drawn using different methods such as crazy eights. The best elements were taken and turned into digital wireframes.
